yesterday
-met a shaman. he knew more about us than you do.
-partied loki-style and then went out. funtimes. we feel like strange touristy celebrities as we get mobbed by peruvians jockying for our attendance at any number of bars. they got too close so we yelled at them, which left them unphased. did get a number of free drink tickets, however. the kids are up as late as us...selling us gum at 1am outside the dance bar.

today
-goodbye, cusco! such a pretty city. we won´t miss the walk up the steep stairs to our hostel, though, or the perpetual invitations for massage? massage miisss? manicure, pedicure? massage, massaje?
-juliaca is the raddest town in peru because susie saw ten sheep on a bicycle.
-we are in a very cute hotel run by the friendliest of ladies. but it´s cold here, and the cold goes straight to the bones.

tomorrow
-visiting a floating island, and probably eating some trucha (trout)
